not in a cell
only held back
by the constraints
of society
got a few bucks,
but not enough to uproot
just waiting for a breeze
strong enough to blow me away.

things I already want to do, use the tree, change bucks to green, enlarge it encompass the whole piece,
ReplyDeleteor, change the serf to a prisoner, but lead into the tree with light, or something about being outside. this was literally just me sitting here for 5 minutes though, so I would also just like to add to it.
